1a. For the purpose of these terms and conditions, Edge Physio Limited shall also be known as 'our' or 'we'

1b. These terms and conditions set out the general terms under which we undertake our business.

2a. A physiotherapist is a legally protected title and the physio must be a member of the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) and we accept our instructions to act for you in accordance with those professional guidelines and scope of practice.

2b. We will not be liable for any damage, cost or losses arising from our compliance with these regulatory obligations.

3a. If you do need to cancel your appointment, please advise us ASAP. If you cancel your appointment with more than 24 hours notice, then no fee will be charged.

3b. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, then a full appointment fee will be payable. 

3c. If your session is through insurance, then cancellation with less than 24 hours session will count as a 'did not attend' charge to the insurance company. This session will be counted as one of the sessions authorised. 

4a. All fees are payable at the end of each consultation. We accept all cards payments (inc AMEX), cash and BACS transfer.

4b. Should you wish to 'pre-pay' for a session, please do contact us and BACS details can be provided. 

4c. We reserve our right to alter our prices and fees, however all attempts will be made to ensure that if you are currently receiving treatment, then you are charged at the rate you began your treatment for that condition. 

4d. If an insurance company is not willing to pay or renumerate you for the costs of your treatment, then you will remain responsible for the settlement of the amount due.

5a. We shall treat and respect all personal information supplied by you as confidential. 

5b. We shall not supply any personal information to any 3rd parties, except where bound by law or in circumstance where information sharing may be necessary for either your or another persons' protection. 

5c. Please refer to our separate privacy policy for more information.

5d. On occasions, some symptom and assessment presentation details may be posted on social media for clinic updates or learning purposes. Any such posts shall ensure your anonymity remains. All your personal recognisable information such as name, age, sex, occupation etc shall not be posted. 

5e. If any posts contain potential recognisable information such as;  your age, sex, how the injury occurred, photos of you or your injury, we shall ask for your permission and consent to post  and document this within your medical notes. 

6a. If you are not happy with the services provided by Edge Physio Limited, we hope that you feel able to discuss this with the clinician who is treating, or has treated, you. If you are not happy with the outcome of this initial discussion, then the company director can be contacted on info@edge-physio.co.uk
